Founded in 1997, SAMK operates from campuses in Pori, Rauma, Kankaanpää, and Huittinen, serving around 6,700–7,400 students and employing over 500 staff . The institution offers bachelor's and master's programs in English and Finnish across four faculties: Health & Welfare, Logistics & Maritime Technology, Service Business, and Technology.
