Based in the Helsinki metropolitan area, Metropolia was founded in 2007 through a merger of EVTEK and Helsinki Polytechnic Stadia. It now operates across four modern campuses Arabia, Myllypuro, Karamalmi, and Myyrmäki serving over 18,000 degree students and 13,000 open UAS learners . With a staff of around 1,000, the university offers English-taught programs in Business, Culture, Health and Social Services, and Technology.
