Welcome to Imperial. We are a world-leading university for science, technology, engineering, medicine and business (STEMB), where scientific imagination leads to world-changing impact.

Imperial College London

We were founded in 1907 with a mission ‘To be useful’, but we know that before anyone can usefully change something, they first need to understand it. That’s what we do.

We use science to try to understand more of the universe, and improve the lives of more people in it.  Across our London campuses, and throughout our international network, we ask bigger questions and so we shape the future.

Entry Requirements

Imperial College London accepts a wide range of international qualifications for undergraduate entry, with minimum admission standards set for each accepted qualification. However, many courses have higher entry requirements than these minimum standards, and offers made may exceed the stated minimum depending on the department. Entry equivalencies to GCE A-levels are assessed using guidance from UK ENIC, official data from qualification authorities, and historical performance data of students with various qualifications, ensuring a fair and informed evaluation of international applicants. For course-specific requirements, applicants should refer to the individual course pages.
